WWE: Armageddon Buyrate Looks Bad

More bad news headed the WWE’s way as the early buyrates for WWE Armageddon, the last Raw-Brand only PPV which was headlined by Kane vs. Triple H vs. Goldberg for the World Heavyweight Championship, have been released.

The PPV appears to have gotten around 215,000 buys, which would equal a .40 buyrate. If the numbers holds at .40, then it will be the lowest buyrate for a WWE PPV since the 1996 In Your House PPV headlined by Bret “Hitman” Hart vs. Sid. It would also be a big drop from last year’s Armageddon, which pulled in around 340,000 buys.
