UKPW – April 29th

Press Release

Jason Detroit vs Jag Chana

Another contest has been added to the lineup for Friday April 29th and will see Jason Detroit take on the monstrous Jag Chana. Fresh off a destructive win over Marcus ‘The Toad’ Hiscott, Chana sees Jason Detroit as just another victim on his path to becoming UKPW Champion. This will certainly be an imposing challenge for Detroit as he gives up a tremendous amount of size to his opponent. On paper, Detroit seems unlikely to walk away in one piece, let alone as the victor. However, that would be overlooking the skill and resiliancy of this talented Superstar who is as cagey as anyone on the UKPW roster. Going in as the underdog, Jason will be looking to pull off a major upset when he squares off against his colossal opponent.

Update on UKPW Rumble

Since it was announced that the UKPW Rumble would be the first step to becoming UKPW Champion on April 29th, there has been growing anxiety on the part of those Superstars not yet entered into the UKPW Rumble. Whilst each Superstar has the credentials to qualify for this match, a limit of only 15 entrants was being seriously considered by UKPW matchmakers.

Following the recent announcement that Eamon O’Neil would be unable to compete in the UKPW Rumble, the number of participants for this crucial matchup has been reconsidered. To resolve the issue of who should be entered and who would be excluded from the UKPW Championship qualifier, the UKPW Rumble will now be an Open Invitational Rumble and all Superstars will have an opportunity to compete for the honour of becoming the very first UKPW Champion.

Therefore, the latest names to be confirmed for the UKPW Rumble are Jamie James, ‘The Idol’ Ian Logan, Jason Detroit, Rich ‘N’ Famous and the debuting Rocco.

The event takes place at the Waterside Theatre in Holbury, Southampton on Friday April 29th, beginning at 8pm. For more information, please visit www.ukpw.com.
