IWF News and Notes – 18th April 2005

IWF return to St. Joseph’s Hall on Saturday 7th May.  Belltime is 7pm and tickets will go on sale in the next few days.  No matches have been announced as yet.

One week later (Sat 14th May) we will return to West Denton Social Club, Newcastle.  Tickets are currently available from the club ((0191) 243 2931) and cost £4.

St Joseph’s Hall will host a training weekend (April 30th – May 1st) courtesy of NWA-UK Hammerlock.  Places for the weekend cost £60.  Interested? Contact iwfyoungsta@hotmail.com

IWF stars ‘Bad Boy’ Jed Masters and Assassin will return to Kent based IPW-UK on May 22nd to take part in a tag team tournament.  We wish them good luck.

Masters will join IWF Junior Academy Champion Max Heat and ‘Old School’ Billy Morrison at a show for 3CW on 29th April.

Good to Ring of Faith Champion Weapon X return in the recent joint shows with 3CW.  However, he has been warned by IWF officials that he must defend his title soon or risk being stripped of it.

IWF emerged victorious against 3CW with an aggregate score of 8-7 over the two shows.  The results of the second show on IWF’s home turf are as follows.

‘Unbreakable’ Bobby Jackson (IWF) def Kid Ritchie (3CW)

IWF Champion Jimmy Blade def Jayson Mayson (3CW)

Assassin and Johnny Moss (IWF) def Ice XVII and XVII (3CW)

Although Dave Styles turned on his 3CW partners and aided the IWF, officials are still unsure whether or not to offer him a full time spot on the IWF roster.
