The following is from the RQW e-mail newsletter:
Well what a week it’s been since “No Pain No Gain”. We’ve been busy organising further shows starting in March (details to follow) and making arrangements for the actual championship matches that we’ve decided will take place on April 29th at the Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh, subject to confirmation from the
venue.
As we’re sure you’re aware from the results on the website, Domino will face Eamon O’Neill for the RQW Heavyweight Title, and one of those worthy competitors will leave Eastleigh with the RQW Gold around his waist.
The Women’s Championship will also be decided that night, the second contender being selected from one of the march events, hopefully Chelmsford, which we will confirm this coming week. Erin Angel is already confirmed after her win at Waltham Abbey, and we’ll announce the other competitors soon.
On a merchandise front, the new NO PAIN, NO GAIN Full Colour T shirt is now available in all sizes and will be added to the merchandise page this week along with DVD’s, including the NO PAIN NO GAIN 2006 DVD which is due for release on February 19th, and apart from the show itself it will feature bonus matches from Waltham Abbey, and the report of Tino Caesar’s departure for New York. Yes we’ve bought the ticket and he’s leaving this coming week, and our camera will be there to see him off. What’s this all about I hear you say? Well for those of you who weren’t at No Pain No Gain, Tino tried to strongarm me into giving The Bulldozer a title shot if he won the 2 out of 3 falls match against Aviv Maayan, but I upped the ante by getting Tino to agree to leave the UK if he lost. We shook hands in front of the capacity audience, and BULLDOZER LOST!!!!!!!. So it’s a big Na na na na, hey hey hey GOODBYE! to Tino Caesar. We’ll update the website with pics as well.
The website updates have been a bit slower than we anticipated due to our programmer having a few technical gremlins to contend with but we’ll be back up to speed with that soon and will ad all of the roster information as well as the media and show pics.
