Maayan and Fleisch Added To “The April Show”, April 30th from the Orpington Halls, Orpington, Kent!
» Former champ Aviv Maayan will look to be the one in the main event on April 30th, instead of Martin Stone. On April 15th in Portsmouth, Maayan invokes his return match clause and after over 8 months after he lost the IPW:UK title, he has his shot at getting it back.
With that in mind, IPW:UK officials have signed up the young Welshman to complete on April 30th. Therefore, no matter the result in Portsmouth, there WILL be an IPW:UK Title match on April 30th.
In addition, another top name on any IPW card in ‘The Phoenix’ Jody Fleisch is now added to the show. Rumour persists that Fleisch is headed to TNA Wrestling in America alongside his main foe Jonny Storm amongst others in coming months – we can assure fans that this isn’t the case on April 30th, as the Phoenix will be in the house.
And Making His UK Debut… He Is… None Other Than… TEDDY HART!

Teddy Hart, one of the most controversial figures in Pro Wrestling since the turn of the millennium, is making his debut in Europe with a double-header in Germany and England. On April 29th GWP in Germany are putting on a massive show featuring multiple guys, and IPW have been a massive beneficiary of this – taking advantage and bringing in Teddy Hart for an amazing show case match.
IPW:UK promoter Daniel Edler has long been a fan of Hart’s work, and jumped at the chance to include Hart on one of his shows, especially with April proving already to be one of a string of HOT “must attend” IPW:UK events. Lord only knows what Teddy Hart is capable of, and lord only knows whom IPW dare put him in the ring with. This information will be released in coming weeks.
While part of the fun of watching a Teddy Hart match, his unpredictability can also cause concern as to whether Hart will appear as advertised at events. GWP, IPW and Teddy himself all want to re-assure fans that flights have been booked, matches are being put together, and April 30th will see Teddy Hart making his UK debut!

— A ‘full match’ has been uploaded by us and permission given for BritWres.com to publicise it. The match, which can be found by clicking the news post with it on, on BritWres.com, features IPW:UK wrestlers Spud and now tag champ ‘The Human Hate Machine’ Dave Moralez going at it from August 2005, in the first round of the Extreme Measures 2 tournament.
— Another match for the event will be announced next with, with more being announced at our show, Unfinished Business, on March 19th at the Orpington Halls.
