Welcome to the interactive UK Scene with your friendly neighbourhood Saz.

Firstly the sad news of Sweet Saraya’s injury, dubbed ‘The first lady of UK wrestling’, Saraya has been entertaining wrestling fans across the country along with her husband Ricky Knight. There are sketchy details about, but the draught of it is that a calamity of events, a ripped coke can severing off her kneecap, her opponent’s inability to spot the injury and failure by the ref and ambulance crew to deal with the situation.

A calamity which could end the career of a well respected wrestler, but let’s hope it’s not the case!

Rumours have it that RQW are going to be the UK office for the WWE, but until they become something more substantial, it’s probably best to leave it at speculation, though if you want to speculate you can do so via the forum.

Oh and congrats to wZw for their tv deal.

What we do care about in all aspects of the UK Scene is your opinion, especially the paying punter, so if you have a say you are more than welcome to express it, whether it is a popular opinion or not.

Training

If you are interested in becoming a professional wrestling, we are here for you on the Talk Wrestling Online Forums, with a comprehensive list of training schools throughout the UK and now with links to suppliers of wrestling gear too! See how good we are to you?

And Finally…

Makes you think long and hard when something that seems so trivial can ruin a person’s wrestling career.

You have to acknowledge the risks each time you walk the walk to the ring and trust in people’s ability to do their job and know their role.

It just takes one bolt missing, or one lack of attention to destroy a wrestler, remember that next time you watch them.

Take care,

Saz
