Note(s)

Vickie Guerrero returned to SmackDown! at the top of the show, regaining control of the show as SmackDown’s General Manager and she announced that all three of the competitors in the Triple Threat World Heavyweight Title Match at Armageddon will be in action on the show. She announces the opponents; First, she gives Edge (her "boyfriend") a softball by having him face Funaki. She then announces that Batista will face Kane in a (non-title) Last Man Standing Match, where Edge interfered and speared Batista, but Batista still won the match over Kane and then Edge hit Batista on the back with a steel chair. Vickie also announced that The Undertaker (who tombstoned Vickie three weeks prior) will be facing the team of Big Daddy V & Mark Henry in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. Undertaker squeaked out a win in the match, narrowly pinning Mark Henry. He was assaulted post-match by multiple splashes by Mark Henry and V Elbows by Big Daddy V, then they put "The Deadman" in a double torture rack and Edge came out and mocked Undertaker. So if Edge wins the title this Sunday (which looks likely), it will be sold as if it was only because ‘Taker and Batista were coming into the Triple Threat injured.

Also, a promo aired on SmackDown!, stating that Ric Flair will be in action on the December 21 edition of SmackDown! in his second "Retirement Match" where he must win to keep his career alive.
