WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE and WCW champion Hulk Hogan is out of a
job. Different TV websites have noted that NBC pulled the plug on American
Gladiators with the new version surviving only two seasons. Initially NBC
said there were plans to bring the third season in Summer of 2009 but the
expensively-produced show didn’t make the cut. Hogan hosted the show with
Laila Ali. It got great ratings for the first few episodes but then
everything went downhill which made the decision even less difficult for NBC.
