FCW: News Round Up & First Matches Announced For "Intimidation"

Future Championship Wrestling’s next show ‘Intimidation’ is just under two weeks away, tonight we can reveal two matches for the show.

Firstly, we have our special ‘Trainee Tag Match’ featuring 4 trainees from the FCW training school. The participants in this match will be announced in the next couple of days right here.

Next up we have a rematch from last months show. Another tag match will see ‘The Human Hate Machine’ Moralez and ‘Sadistic’ Jack Storm team up to take on the upcoming team of Jay Icon and Sam Green – The HighCons.

Keep checking back over the next few days as we reveal more matches for ‘Intimidation’, as well as the first match signed for ‘Collision Course’ @ Haden Hill Leisure Centre on Saturday April 8th.

Here is a roundup of all the latest goings on in Future Championship Wrestling over the past couple of weeks –

Brett Banner made a successful singles debut at ‘Reckless Abandon’ against a man whom he knew fairly well from the FCW Training school – Weasel. Brett was brutal in his attack against the smaller opponent, who eventually had no choice but to tap out to Banner’s ‘Gamma Lock’ submission move.

As if that that wasn’t enough of a beating, the Weasel was then laid out by The Judge who made his way to ringside. We say laid out, but what we meant was ‘killed’. The Judge chokeslammed Weasel onto the back of his head.

Speaking of The Judge, it seems that he has the makings of a new FCW Champion. In January he beat current FCW Champion The Bouncer by disqualification, and two weeks ago he actually pinned him in a tag team contest. The Judge has now managed to line himself up with another FCW Title match, though we are not sure when this match will take place as The Bouncer is still suffering the effects of having the F5 onto his own championship belt.

The Tag Team Division is heating up again in FCW, Laken Xander and A-Star Athlete are going to have to be on top of their game if they are to hold onto the straps for any considerable ammount of time. The one team that they have in their sights is The Devil’s Advocate. At ‘Reckless Abandon’ the champs successfully defended the belts against the former champions Hogan/Blade and Devil’s Advocate. However after the match Saul Adams and Damien Grant attacked Xander/A-Star with the belt and ‘kidnapped’ their valet Angel. No one has seen Angel since, who knows what she is being subjected to by ‘Mr Bad Attitude’ and ‘The Ladies Favourite’

After suffering a loss in January to Kevin O’Neil in his first match since the disbandment of The British Connection, BB Steele got back to basics and studied matches from the FCW back catalogue. For his next match he faced another member of PL4Y in ‘The Sensation Of The Nation’ Rob Hunter. It seemed to do the trick as BB Steele came away with a hard earned victory over the former 2-time FCW Champion.

Celt Kennedy continued his winning ways beating Spudleyville’s favourite son – Spud. Thats now two impressive back to back victories for the Manchester native.

‘Sadistic’ Jack Storm is now back in FCW and looking to start up where he left off against Dragon Phoenix. After a successful return at ‘Reckless Abandon’ teaming with ‘The Human Hate Machine’ Moralez against The HighCons, he once again set his sights on his former Party Boy partner. During the main event Jack Storm ran out and attacked Phoenix who the proceeded to brawl their ways back to the dressing room. Both men were eventually separated, and Jack Storm was ordered out of the building by FCW Commsioner – ‘Desirable’ Danny D.

Injury News
The Bouncer suffered an injury to his shoulder courtesy of The Judge but is not expected to miss any time off. Kevin O’Neil is still experiencing pains in his elbow and is sidelined for the immediate future.

Ross Taylor has now recovered from his concussion, and will be back on March 26th.

Other News
Due to various reasons we have had to regrettably cancel our show at The Saddlers Club on Friday March 17th. Full refunds are available for those that pre ordered through Midland Box Office.

‘Collision Course’ at The Haden Hill Leisure Centre is just around the corner, with tickets available from the centre as of next weekend. For those that have attended past events at Haden Hill, you know that this is one you can’t miss.
