Yesterday WWE released both Gunner Scott and Francine.
Gunner Scott (Brent Albright) appeared on the SmackDown roster for several months before being sent back down to Ohio Valley Wrestling last June, after not connecting with the audience.
ECW original Francine had been used sparingly on ECW TV, instead being used on house shows in bikini contests with Kelly Kelly. It had also been rumoured that Vince McMahon was not a fan of Francine, with McMahon believing Francine was not up there with the other “WWE Divas” in looks.
