OK, so I took ANOTHER week off, but this was for a reason. Reasons that involved me and my position here that thankfully have now been resolved, meaning that your favourite RAW and SmackDown! recapper is still on Wrestling101.com. Ain’t that just the greatest? Well even if you think it isn’t, tough luck, because I am here to stay. Unlike Sabu with TNA of course, and if the Newsreel was still alive, I’d have something to say about that. But oh well…

OK, so I took a week off. You can’t blame me for that, I’m a busy guy. Kinda. OK, so maybe I’m a little lazy, but at least I’m back now. Well most of me is, part of the column is being ditched. No, not the show review part I’m afraid, the Newsreel. There’s just no room for it in this crazy mad world we called the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. And also because it’s not as if it adds that much, you can check out the news anywhere you want. Enough explaining, time for some RAW stuff…
No April Fool’s jokes here, and due to how late I am, no Newsreel or Mailbag either. That’s right, I’m phoning it in this week, mainly because I’ve written quite a lot this week and I’m having a bit of a burnout. Plus I have the Hall of Fame and Impact to watch, and badminton to play. Yeah, you can call me whatever you want, the column’s here isn’t it?
Rumours have been surrounding the wrestling world that something BIG TIME is going to happen this weekend. I am here to tell you that is not true. It will not just be BIG TIME, because it’s on it’s way, it’s making it, it’s gonna make it show, it’s so much larger than life, and we’re going to watch it growing. It’s big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big. It’s WrestleMania 22, and here are my predictions…
It’s been one week since you came to this column, to read a review about last week’s RAW. Five days since SmackDown! aired, featuring my favourite match of the week between Rey and Finlay. Three days it took me to give up, looking for a copy of SmackDown! to watch, hence why there was no GB&U for it, so sit back and welcome to a RAW review again…
We’ve got the fallout of Saturday Night’s Main Event, the fallout of flaming tables, tacks, conchairtos, screwjobs, heel turns, beer drinking, one-man-dominating-the-entire-main-event scene and Boogeyman. What WILL happen tonight? And why AREN’T I writing show previews for WWE.com? Read the column and you’ll probably find out…
Saturday Night’s Main Event is back, and unfortunately, so is YANS. You just knew he couldn’t keep his opinions to himself when an idea from 13 years ago gets re-used. No newsreel, no mailbag, this is just 100% pure column. So step inside, it won’t hurt…Much
YANS is busy today. First of all there’s been a leak that AJ Styles might be going shopping in Detroit following the TNA House Show, so YANS has flown over especially to see if he can catch a glimpse. He has instructed me to inform you that “the TNA house show drew a bigger crowd than every WWE house show since 2004”. That’s not actually true, but he told me to say it, so blame him. Meanwhile, we still have a column to do…
We are just 20 days away from WrestleMania 22, and only 5 days away from Saturday Night’s Main Event returning to our screens. Well by the time you’re reading this, it will probably 18 days to WM22 and 3 days to SNME, but we’re working in theory. Everything works, in theory. Like communism. You want a column? You got one…
One of the most common questions in wrestling is; which do you prefer, RAW or SmackDown!? Well this week’s shows could probably answer the question for most people, as after a despicably bad RAW we come to a SmackDown! full of momentum after a great show last week. But can this one continue the run of good shows? Time to find out…
