TSC: WWF Royal Rumble 1988
The Royal Rumble is a week away, one of the only PPV’s each year that I consider ‘must see’, having kept the original concept throughout the years (unlike the Survivor Series, which used to be ‘must see’ and is now ‘sh*t’).
TSC: No Holds Barred
Being that its the Christmas/New Year period, I was considering penning a wonder, descriptive piece on Xanta Klaws (or whatever the hell he was called), Balls Mahoney’s favourite festive seasonal individual. Instead, I decided not to. So, on with the show…as it were.

A few weeks back there was a poll asking which was your personal favourite WrestleMania. As usual, 17 (which is hugely overrated to me, and nothing special) won, and events like the first 6 or 7 were cast aside and pretty much buried.

What if? It’s a question that I’d say is asked semi-regularly when it comes to pro wrestling. “What if Hulk Hogan had never come back to the World Wrestling Federation?” “What if Vince had never gone National?” “What if WCW and ECW had never gone out of business?””
TSC: The Ultimate Warrior
I was watching some old tapes (yes, I said TAPES!!! VHS goodness baby!) and although I consider the Ultimate Warrior a huge star, it really emphasised to be just how big a star he was in the World Wrestling Federation throughout his tenure there.

If there is one thing about the past history of professional wrestling that bothers me (well, there are tons of things that bother me, but I’ll pick just the one, for now), its that Rick Martel, between 1989 and 1991, didn’t have a run with the Intercontinental title.
